One of my favourite parts of The Met: the Roman and Greek Galleries.

My somewhat newly discovered love at The Met is the collection of Islamic Art. The way the art is displayed is breathtaking and really allows visitors to be immersed in the intricacies and talent that emerged from this ancient culture in a way that's not commonplace, at least stateside. From rugs to illustrations to whole rooms of stunning woodwork and mosaic, I think it's a part of The Met that should not be missed.

That's all for today, folks.
